TechTown Java

A BisectHosting Minecraft Server, OP'd by Richard Ryan.

Mod ZIP via Dropbox - Server IP: 15.204.55.2:25565

This server uses MC 1.18.2 and Forge 40.2.0.

Places of Note So Far.

  1. Fort Spawn – Features a small 4-room fort of sorts with some major visual aids to get you started. Nearby there’s also a Ferry Dock that runs between here and…
  2. Venice – A Better Villages village that I would have tidied up by now, but I left it pretty much alone to let you see what to expect from freshly spawned villages.
  3. Whitetop – Ereck’s place.
  4. D’arem-0 – D’arhub Embassy – 0000 (The Admin’s home closer to the action.
  5. Milan – Another BV Village, this one featuring Market Stalls, so… another popular Italian Landmark City, just south of Venice (at least in here).
  6. Greenshire – Another BV Village further south along the train line.
  7. Berk – Another BV Village further south along the train line.
  8. Clearside – A little hiccup of a place … even further south.
  9. D’arhub – A major city project of the Admin’s, but too far away from the action.

TechTown's Mods

If a mod has it’s own diebot page, the name will be a link, and not Bold. Mods not listed here are Dependency Mods (Mod_X requires some_library).
If you want to make modding your MC easier, I recommend MultiMC5.exe from multimc.org this will make it easier to use my exported Instance of MC, which is here.

  1. Just Enough Items – A recipe reference and (for OP’s) a big @$$ bucket of All The Things.
  2. The One Probe – Derived from WAILA.
  3. Timber Mod – When you take out the bottom of a tree, guess what… The whole tree comes down. Gasp! Amazing!! (Note: when you make/get a new axe the player must enable Timber by the V-key. Then the mod harvests logs at and above if there is dirt below.)
  4. Fast Leaf Decay – …in case Timber doesn’t cut it. 😂
  5. JRFTL – Just Rotten Flesh To Leather… by Furnace’ing.
  6. Journey Map – It’s like an MC map that’s better in every way, you just can’t put it in a Frame or “hold” it.
  7. Timber Frames – You will need clay, a type of Planks, and 3 iron bars for the Broad Knife. Sh.-Right click to change Broad Knife’s pattern.
  8. Better Villages – You’ll see…
  9. Minecraft Comes Alive – Like MC Villagers except they have moods, tools, friendships, names, weddings, jobs, kids, graves… Ok, nothing like MC Villagers.
  10. Minecraft Transit Railway – Trains, Boats, Cable Cars (European style, not San Fran. Street), Elevators, Escallators, Travellators… Move in Style!
  11. Ex Nihilo: Sequentia – Sifting dirt, gravel and more for a chance of getting bonemeal, redstone, iron, gold, etc.
  12. Immersive Engineering – Multi-block Machines that take on a custom model when built, among other things.
  13. Storage Drawers – Uses all the styles of wood and has 1×1, 1×2 and 2×2 Drawers in full or half-block sizes.
  14.  PneumaticCraft: Repressurized – A tech mod that involves getting things done by High-Pressure manipulation, or Air Vaccums. Build Carefully as too much pressure can cause Explosions!
  15. ComputerCraft: Tweaked – Computers, and Monitors, Printers, Disk Drives; as well as Turtles with all kinds of tools. The programs they run are done in LUA which is fairly easy to read for the layperson.
  16. The Weirding Gadget – I haven’t yet done much with this but it offers a Chunk Loader, which is why it’s here. Use it sparingly, plz.
  17. Nifty Blocks – Pavement, signage, flags, streetlights and other nice visual fluff. More Food options too.
